Do Drops

Art Direction

Do Drops came to Thrillist with the intention of promoting their low-dose edibles in a multi-article campaign across Thrillist’s cannabis vertical. The final result was a collection of beautiful and informative branded editorials that feature the Do Drop as the hero cannabis product for novices and experts alike.

View content from three of the editorials I worked on below.

In this editorial, we created the ultimate guide to making edibles part of your summer hang by curating low-key affair. The setting was decked-out cottage-core with intricate florals and mouth-watering munchies, making it the perfect setting for trying out Do Drops.

We also answered 7 common questions about micro-dosing with cannabis. The myth-busting editorial and photography spoke to daily activities perfect for pairing with a low-dose edible.

After hearing all the buzz around micro-dosing, our LA-based editor was ready to give it a try during her usual routines, and recount it all for Thrillist readers. Using low-dose Do Drops throughout this experiment, she shared her account about trying the practice across a slew of day-to-day activities.

We paired the editor’s account with original illustrations by Sarah Cliff. I was thrilled to contract Sarah and art direct her through the process. Her expressive style and bold shapes wonderfully represented the added joy and pleasure cannabis can bring to everyday activities.
