It’s undeniable that the LGBTQ+ community has had a huge influence on beauty. In celebration of Pride, Ulta Beauty came to Vox Media to shine a light on a Chase Runaway, and NYC-based drag queen, to share her personal journeys and how her unique routine doubles as self-care.

To accompany the written piece, we captured chase Chase Runaway in bold looks where retro-futuristic met otherworldy romanticism.

The dramatic lighting channeled the theatrical energy of a drag show and set the stage for Chase’s editorial debut.
